What a difference a few personal questions make.
Taylor Swift fans are up in arms about a recent survey sent out by Wondery, the network behindNew Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the podcast hosted by the football star brothers—one of whom happens to be dating the world’s most famous pop star.

It was by and large the same kind of questionnaire you’d expect to receive from any company looking to get a better idea of how to serve their customers better. What Swifties took issue with, according to Page Six, was how focused the questions seemed to be on Taylor and Travis’ relationship—or, as one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “wondery+ doing a survey to see if exploiting Travis’ love life would be worth it is disgusting (and you know that’s what you were doing).”
“Kinda gross for Wondery to ask so many questions about Taylor and even ask about how likely someone is to continue to listen if Travis were to retire,” wrote another. “Then ask what we would want to listen to if the guys started a whole new podcast?”
In a section that asked about the reasons why respondents listened to New Heights, one possible response was “I was drawn to the prospect of hearing details and clues about Taylor Swift’s life and her relationship withTravis” while another said, “I like feeling like a part of the community that supports Taylor’s happiness outside of her music.”
While it was clearly the company behind the podcast that created the survey, that didn’t allow Travis to escape some serious scrutiny—and damning accusations—of his own. One Swift fan described it as “pathetic clout-chasing” on Travis’ part.
A handful of Swift fans, who seem to understand how marketing surveys work, stuck up for the Kelce brothers. Noting, quite rightly, that they had nothing to do with the creation of the survey—or the proposed answers to its questions.
Page Six reached out to Travis’ representatives for comment but did not hear back.
